The Barn is a three bedroom cottage nestled in beautiful and tranquil Glencloy on the Isle of Arran. With the amenities of Brodick village centre a short walk away, the Barn's peaceful rural setting combined with the shops, bars, restaurants, a great beach and the Auchrannie Spa on your doorstep, it is the perfect setting for a relaxing break. The Barn's central location on the island also means that it is an ideal base from which to explore everything that the wonderful Isle of Arran has to offer.

With three modern ensuite bedrooms, the Barn offers versatile accommodation ideal for families or groups of friends keen to experience everything Arran has to offer. The Barn also has a cosy lounge with a log burner, to help worm the toes after a bracing winter walk, a large sociable dining area, a well equipped modern kitchen and a handy downstairs cloakroom.

Wildlife

 

Otters, golden eagles, red squirrels, gannets, dolphins, red deer, hen harriers, peregrine falcons - keep your eyes peeled, you're surrounded!

Distilleries & Breweries

 

If you enjoy a pint or a wee dram, visits to the Lochranza Distillery, Lagg Distillery and the Arran Brewery are a must.

Activities

 

With seven golf courses, mountain bike trails, opportunities to sail, kayak and fishing and a spa, gym, swimming pool and playbarn at the Auchrannie Resort, there is something for everyone.

Places to Eat

 

Arran is full of great places to eat. Our particular favourites include The Old Pier Cafe, Mara Fish Bar & Deli and Crofters Bar in Brodick.

Heritage & Geology 

 

As an aspiring UNESCO Global Geopark Arran is a geologist paradise. Historians will also enjoy exploring stone circles dating back to 7000BC and Brodick Castle. Visit the Heritage Museum to find out more.
